To be successful, you need to demonstrate:  

·     Proven experience in Human resources (including recommendations to management on performance management, employee relations and remuneration)

·     Relevant tertiary qualifications

·     An understanding of modern leadership and organisational strategies

·     Strong computer skills

·     Great written and verbal communication skills

·      Proven ability to negotiate

Above all you will be skilled at relationship management, and bring a balanced blend of Human Resources expertise, customer focus and passion to the role.

Duties

This role drives the Human Resources elements for two major Divisions, to optimise workforce engagement and performance.  Working closely with line managers and senior management, your focus is to create a high performance culture and best people management practices.   

You will work alongside experienced professionals in an environment others only dream of.

Key responsibilities include:  

·     Work with line managers to promote high levels of employee engagement and productivity.

·     Identify key role competencies, and ensure that recruitment processes are cost-effective, timely and of the highest standard.

·     Work to ensure that employees are recognised and rewarded for high performance, while creating an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect in the workforce.

·      Promote strong productive relationships among employees and management.

·     Develop concepts and activities to capture the hearts of employees eg employee engagement measurements and assistance programs.

·     Assist with policy development for employee remuneration and benefits.

·     Recommend training and development programs to support employee growth.

·     Ensure that all employees are treated fairly (in accordance with relevant legislation).

·     Maintain a strong commitment to the highest standards of safety, health and environment. 

Salary Range

Negotiable dependent on skills and experience
