Essential Skills

• A relevant degree in mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering or substantial experience in a similar role

• Sound knowledge of operations in a process, manufacturing, chemical environment is desirable

• Developed leadership skills and the ability to consult and communicate with all level of production personnel

• Advanced communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to gather, assimilate and communicate technical knowledge

• Proven aptitude to optimise resource allocation and continually seek improved efficiency including application of new technology/systems

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office PC applications and an aptitude to master complex, plant specific computer systems

• A keen eye for identifying process and machinery improvement opportunities and implementing your ideas after consultation with all parties involved

• Passion and commitment to the quality of process and product

• The successful applicant will have had at least 5yrs on the job experience and some leadership experience preferably within a manufacturing environment

Duties

Become involved with the day to day running of Australia's largest aluminium anodising and powder coating facility.

Already one of the most modern plants of its kind, the successful applicant will be a part of is on going evolution  and you will work along side some of the worlds leading minds in aluminium finishing treatments.

You will be part of the management team for forward planning and projects development within this area. 

You will be asked to participate in the streamlining of the materials handling systems and advancements in production equipment.
