We have been engaged by a Local Government
organisation seeking a Marketing Services Support Officer to join their
Marketing & Communication Team on a temporary basis.
This unique and rare opportunity will allow the
successful candidate to use their expertise to work within a Marketing
division.
You will be responsible for a range of
administrative duties including:
- Provide effective day to day management of required administrative,
financial and project related tasks within the Marketing Branch, including
processing purchase orders.
- Assist Marketing and Communication Officers in implementing marketing
and communication campaigns including event management and production of
marketing materials.
- Manage the inventory and distribution of marketing materials and
promotional merchandise
- Manage the distribution of Information Packs to newly arriving residents
in all divisions.
- Any other duties as directed including occasional support to the
Marketing Manger.
Your skills will need to include:
- Highly developed skills in oral and written communication in a customer
oriented environment and the ability to communicate confidently with all
levels of staff and the general public.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite of programs
- PowerPoint
- Oracle (Or the ability to acquire such knowledge)
- Highly developed organisational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Proficiency with conduction research in the online environment
- Demonstrated experience in a marketing service delivery environment
would be highly regarded.
