the Role
|
This
is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a Queensland Government department
providing them with executive support to the General Manager, Communication
Services and ensure that the goals and objectives of the branch are achieved
successfully.
Our
client is not looking for the normal EA or PA, they are looking a
candidate who is the right fit to the following principal responsibilities:
- Support
the General Manager to effectively lead and manage Communication Services
by providing authoritative and timely advice, guidance, information and
assistance on strategic and operational business matters.
- Coordinate,
implement and monitor key activities of Communication Services including
business planning, projects, initiatives and internal/external reporting
requirements to ensure that they are timely and of a high standard.
- Establish
and maintain effective working relationships and liaison with the Office
of the Deputy Director-General, senior management across the department
and Directors, Managers and staff of Communication Services.
- Develop
and maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of the functions of
Communication Services to ensure that the General Manager is soundly
supported at all times.
- Research,
analyse and prepare reports, papers, briefing notes and submissions on
behalf of the General Manager on a range of communications related issues.
